TDF..I have been there hon..and it is very scary,and very exciting all at once isn't it?? Just stand with your head held high and be proud that you had the courage to leave a bad situation because so many never work up that courage. The more of us who step up and take control back of our own lives and refuse to live like that any longer are setting an example for all of those who think that it can't be done...whether it is physical abuse, emotional abuse or what have you..it is still a HUGE and courageous step to get out, and you should feel so proud of yourself. Everyhting that comes after seems so overwhelming and scary, but it is a piece of cake after what you have already accomplished. You will have rough days ahead, but they are better than what you have alreday been through..just keep that in mind when things get tough. You can and will make it hun, and believe me..it is a GREAT feeling!!  |
