A dim light Shone from above Where a lone light bulb On the ceiling was strung
Her heart lay torn And her emotion broken Her face looked dead Her words unspoken
Her once blue eyes Turned an icy grey And her radiant hair dimmed As some would say
Wordless lies of a happy life Held within her mind Where people would treat her in a good way They’d be tender and kind
