WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR SPECIAL OCCASION TRADITIONS??? -Leana

I was wondering some people have different things they do for different occasions. For instance I have a friend and her Husband re-new their wedding vows every two years for the first five or ten years of their marriage. She said her Grandmother started it, to keep the marriage strong. I think that is really cool! So what do some of you do on your Anniversary, or other occassions that are unique or different?

My Husband Pogo and I have started our own tradition, every year on our Anniversary we are going to get each other some type of tattoo or piercing. Last year I got his eyebrow pierced, and he got me a butterfly tattoo.

This month is our Anniversary so I got him a tattoo, and he got my tongue pierced.

*hugs*

Leana

Date: 4/6/2004 7:50:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 29534    Thank you all for sharing your traditions. Bad thing is after 4 days of my tongue being pierced, I ended up had a reaction to the tongue ring. So nevertheless, I ended up taking it out today. And was told by a Doctor that I can't do the pierced thing any longer. I thought that since they pierced with Surgical Steel that I wouldn't have any problems, and a tongue is not the same as cartlige, but if your allergic, no matter what is pierced you will always be. Oh well, there's always tattoos. I love tattos anyways. *hugs*
