Ok i was thinking about the time when my mom was driving me home from my dad's work and we heard a scream and this girl was run over by a car. Also I remember when we heard sirens and this guy mugged someone and ran them over with a car. i think. Also before i was born this house down the street exploded. So have you ever saw a car accident or fire first-hand? i was just wondering. Yes wierd stuff happens in the third biggest city in Pa where i live.

Date: 3/26/2004 12:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    i've been in two car accidents one where the car rolled 1 and a half rolls and i ended up on the roof and the other where an elderly couple hit me in the passenger side(they were speeding) an dpushed the car good 4-6ft(into the oncomming lane fortunately no traffic was flowing)
Date: 3/26/2004 2:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 44773    ya, I live right on the river and people drive this road way two fast, so I've seen so many acciedents. Just a couple weeks ago a young couple who weren't wearing their seatbelts, went over the cliff and in the river, they both died. It's so sad. As for fires, I caught on fire when I was 13 or 14, and I've got some scares on my backside to prove it and in september there was a fire on my property and we lost a buch of stuff. So, ya I've seen some bad thing's in this life.
Date: 3/26/2004 2:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 47242    I am a volunteer fire person in the small town where I live. I've been on a lot of accidents and fires.I'm a first responder and I have helped calm down a lot of people after fires, auto accident,or just EMS calls. Trauma momma
Date: 3/26/2004 4:14:00 PM  From Authorid: 62100    Well, I don't know if it's the same thing but I EXPERIENCED both first hand. When I was 14 or 15 we were in a car accident..it had been raining and my mom's tire went into the mud at the side of the road as we turned a corner, we glanced off of a tree and rolled down a very long hill before ending up with the car upside down. We all escaped without any serious injury..my brother flew up and hit the stereo and cut his head which required stitches. Then, when I was 16, we had a fire in the bedroom that my sisters and I shared. Turns out that my brother had been upstairs sneaking a cigarette, heard one of us girls coming up the stairs and pitched the cigarette (thinking it would go out), and it landed on a spare mattress under one of the sets of bunkbeds where it smoldered until like 2 am when it caught and started a fire. LUCKILY, I had some friends over and we had all slept downstairs and we all got out okay after smelling the smoke and the fire department was able to stop the fire before any other rooms were affected, but the bedroom was ruined and needed total redoing. But it could have been worse.
Date: 3/26/2004 5:27:00 PM  From Authorid: 3648    I watched a accident happen right in front of our car....lady hit one of those highway grass mowers...torn the roof off her car ...she then continued on over all lanes of the highway...up a hill and hit a tree....I got out of my car and ran across the lanes to her.....she was out with a serious head injury...I had to take my kids' shirts and hold to her head over the amount of blood....I stayed with her until the EMT's got there and the chopper was able to take her to the hospital...plus I've had a couple of accidents myself with deer....and when I was almost 5 I caught my house on fire
Date: 3/26/2004 6:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 3835    Well, I have experienced trauma with fire.. I was driving my car and my radio caught on fire and I had to stop fast and get out.. wires melted. Guess that let me know to have someone install things that know what they are doing. The second fire was the worst of all.. my home burned to the ground, and my family was left with absolutely nothing but the clothes on our backs... devastating and just happened only 13 months ago.
Date: 3/26/2004 6:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 47296    I've been a few accidents and also witnessed several as they happened. I have also witnessed several fires, usually as a volunteer firefighter or in the Navy as part of a damage control party.
Date: 3/26/2004 8:27:00 PM  From Authorid: 54968    I've seen a car run into another car head first (not that fast, probably 10mph) at a stop light. Then the car backed up and just drove off. The poor kid who was hit was sitting in his car crying and had smoke coming out of his car like crazy. :/
Date: 3/26/2004 9:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 62367    I've only seen minor fender benders and one pickup that slid across 4 icy lane of highway, hit the median and spin around facing in the opposite direction. He was alright, I was following at a good distance. I was in a very serious accident as a child. I rode my bike after swimming, ran a stop sign and broadsided a car, removing the mirror with my face, putting a dent in the drivers side door with a hip and coming down in the road on my head. I do not remember the accident, my brother saw it though. To this day he will not talk about it. He was 8 and I was 9 at the time.
Date: 3/27/2004 12:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 35160    i have seen a few. thank goodness they were not bad , and they all walked away . but its still scary to see.
Date: 3/27/2004 4:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 16845    well I've been in a few car accidents so I guess yes.....And when I was in kindergarten mom was walking me to school and a house was on fire....we ran to the house across the street to make sure someone had called 911..
Date: 4/2/2004 1:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 49763    Oh yeah I live in Sacramento I see lots of accidents and fires and other stuff saw the jaws of life used a couple times. ~~
