Love Shines Bright.....Midnight Momma

there once was a light that was as bright as a star
the light grew dim as if it was turned off
what caused this light to dim its shine
only you can tell me that if you would give me the time

why do lights go out and some are never relite
this is sad to my soul
sometimes i feel like i have lost grip
all i want is that shine to come back

i know that life has gave a us a few wacks
but there is nothing that love cant survive
if you just give it a little bit of our time
shines are forever and all about

now lets see if we can work it out
my soul aches like it has never ached before
just because i know there is a door
that door has never been there before

lets burn it down so our souls can survive
if we dont i am sure we will die
