Date: 3/25/2004 4:39:00 PM From Authorid: 37101 Some people choose to believe that Heaven is at the end of space. Others may think that space never ends. And it does really wierd you out to think about. It's like trying to imagine death. Your brain cannot comprehend it so it does odd things. Personally, when I think on it too hard, I get this odd feeling in my chest. - |

Date: 3/25/2004 6:47:00 PM From Authorid: 44960 Where does space start? If it has no end, then it has no start. |
Date: 3/25/2004 7:25:00 PM From Authorid: 5886 I personally think space will loop around back onto itself. Like if you keep going in a straight line and manage not to collide with anything in your path, you'll eventually end up back at the same point in space. Due to the extream amount of time it'd take for such a journey, the universe would have changed drasticly by then so you prolly wouldn't recognize it as the same spot. |
Date: 3/26/2004 9:18:00 AM From Authorid: 58611 There is no way of ever knowing. It could have an end somewhere out there. But what is at the end? Or it could just never end, or maybe space is the end? |
Date: 3/26/2004 5:21:00 PM From Authorid: 19613 i have what i call the "asteroids" theory. if you;ve ever played the game "asteroids" you'll know that when your ship goes off one side of the screen, it sppeaer at the other.... maybe the universe is similiar |
Date: 3/28/2004 10:02:00 PM From Authorid: 37872 It boggles the mind, it does. But you shouldn't think of it as ending, like a straight line or point a to point b. The universe is not really shaped like anything on this planet, and it expands and contracts. I'm sure one day we'll know, who knows maybe your the one that will figure it out. |
Date: 3/29/2004 4:17:00 PM From Authorid: 55126 I hurts my brain to think that it goes on forever...it's kind of comforting to imagine that if you would travel far enough into space, at the end there is just a big brick wall...lol..and that's the end. -BlueCrushSurfer |
Date: 4/7/2004 1:50:00 PM From Authorid: 62391 I wonder the same thing! Here is my little tidbit about what I think. Either space is never-ending or the end leads to heaven. But then, what was there before the "big bang" therie? if the universe was just created by a large explosion, HOW did it explode if there was nothing before it? scientists have made discoveries that everything moves slightly outward from the "center" of the universe (how they determined what the center is is beyond me, and if they found where it is, can't they find where it ends?) this is where i believe religion comes in, and is only what i believe. thanks! --jacqui |

Well, there is the theory of the universe stretching out until nothing exists... Then there is always fluccuation. |
Date: 12/6/2004 11:25:00 AM From Authorid: 62966 It does bug me too,i think that well never know where space ends or if it ends at all,i guess ill find out when i get to heaven,if i get to heaven.....o man i want anwsers!!!!.........jason6 |
Date: 8/16/2005 6:14:00 AM From Authorid: 56369 you get a certain vertigo when you ponder this one too long lol! Well i saw in a movie once (i think it was MIB) this scene where the galaxy was in space and space was in something else, and it just kept zooming out and eventually it was two aliens playing with marbles and everything we knew was inside those little rocks. really makes you think doesnt it lol |
