I've never got why people have this done *sigh*. Anyway I guess you are stuck with soft foods like mash potato, soup and puddings. And you could live on ice cream alone, my sister did it for 18 months when she was younger |

I agree with Ad. I don't know what goes through some people's minds that inspires them to impale a piece of metal through their tongue risking infection. |

What I did, was I ate alot of ice cream, and when I got tired of that, I would eat crushed ice, which would take swelling down a bit, and numb your tongue, then, eat something small, or something big, but cut it up, and when you're chewing, keep your tongue still, I know it's hard to do, but if you don't you will end up biting the stud and causing a world of pain. And remember, during the healing process, Listerine is your best friend, use it after eveything you eat drink, anything you put in your mout, fingers, anything. It is very inportant that you use it if you don't want your tongue to get infected, stray away from alot of starch for the first few days too, hope I could be of some help. Peace Love and Metallica |

My friend lived on baby food for the first 2 weeks after getting hers done. She loved the rice pudding, any of the fruits and I think it was the toddler mac & cheese that she ate also. |

When my friend got her tongue piercing she said her tongue swelled up for like a week or two. Stick with liquids and soft foods like soup, pudding, ice cream, mashed potatoes..things like that. |
