Hi Peeps,
Details as promised...hahaha. A follow-on from my last two posts (http://www.unsolvedmysteries.com/usm373552.html and http://www.unsolvedmysteries.com/usm374404.html) regarding a close friend who I became closer with over a recent holiday, and whom just spent the weekend with me discussing the 'Where to From Here for us' question.
Well...where to for her and I?? Wherever it is...it is now TOGETHER...WAAAAAAAHOOO! *giggles*
DETAILS: And yes they are G-Rated as nothing like 'that' went on...as per our agreement...and one that, yeah, we lived up to with much restraint...hehehe.
4pm Friday: I'm standing at one of the Arrival Gates at the local Airport, slightly anxious, but very excited...just taking depth breathes...breathes that got deeper and deeper as each person from the flight she was on walked out of the Arrival Gate Doors. Watching the smiles of those who had family waiting for them...watching the hugs of joy, the 'welcome home' kisses that couples shared...it was magic, and it merely served to make me more and more excited to see her again. Quick glance in the mirrored windows beside me...adjust my shirt, adjust my hair, are my shoes shiny enough...quick scuff on the back of my pants leg to buff them a little more...take a breath-mint...breathe...ummm, yep, sweet, think I'm ready *giggles*
And then she appeared...
...in that sea of emotion she was my only focus, surrounded by a crowd of people she, to me, stood out alone...and guys it took my breathe away. She saw me...and she smiled...and I swear my heart stopped...her smile just radiates peace, a peace that cut through anything and everything I may have experienced in the past...a sense of peace I have searched for all my life and never - till now - truly attained...and she delivered that with a mere smile. We hugged. And we cried.
How could I describe her? Well...shes female...hahaha, good start:) 27 years old, approx 5foot tall and petite, European, the most gorgeous milky white skin with just a hint of tan, amazingly full-bodied Auburn Blonde hair down to just past her shoulders...she says her hair is too messy...I say its downright perfect...cute doesn't even do her justice...her stunning beauty can only be summed up in the breatheless exclamation 'GaaaawDaaaaaaaaaaaaang' *hahaha*...and with the most amazing light blue/green eyes and a smile that is just total killer *peaceful sigh*...which must have raised a few eyebrows at the Airport as I'm pretty much the complete opposite...6'3'', huge and brown...with a scary hair-cut...lol!
We took a drive out along the Bays...and I thank the Lord for he turned on some of the most amazing weather for us this weekend...Friday was no exception, the sun was magnificent and served to bring a life to the waters of the bays such that I had never witnessed before...or perhaps I was simply viewing them now with a life I had never before felt. All the while her hand was on mine, just holding my fingers, stroking the top of my hand...it was bliss. We parked up, hopped out and found a nice place to sit right next to the water. She climbed into my lap and just wrapped her arms around my neck and melted into me. We talked, we hugged and we kissed. We just held eachother for a while and just enjoyed being together.
That evening we had dinner with my bro and sister-in-law...the first time they had met eachother. And they liked her very much...always a bonus, not that I doubted they wouldn't...and honestly, not that I'd worry if they didn't...hehehe. Her and I went to see a movie she wanted to see, Gothika, I think the movie stars Halle Berry...I'm not overly sure, I really wasn't focussed on the movie as such *giggles*
Over the next few days we were rarely without contact...be it a touch from a hand, a holding of an arm, a warm cuddle or a long tight embrace. We spoke about our dreams for the future...our own goals and ambitions...our likes and dislikes etc, what we wanted out of an 'us'...and everything - everything - was in unison. Completely synchronised. Just as we both knew it would be.
Yesterday was hard for us. She was flying back yesterday...so despite our joy, and our decision that we wanted to be life partners *WAAAAHOOOOO!* there was still a tinge of sadness that we would be parting company, but only for a while. So we caught up with another mutual friend, had lunch...and then spent the remainder of yesterday just cuddled up.
Seeing her off at the airport brought many tears...but also a greater love...for the tears we mingled together with our faces pressed cheek to cheek were both tears of temporary separation of body, but most definitely a unification of soul. I told her about what tears during these occasions represent for my people (NZ Maori)...that during the parting of loved ones, we cry tears...and those tears have purpose...the purpose is to form a river...a river of love upon which our treasured one can row their canoe back to us upon.
I spoke with her last night when she got back home. And she said that she has made the decision that she would rather I stayed in my city with my job and that she left her city/job and moved down to live with me. I told her that we will make that decision together soon enough...that we are together now, and where is something we can decide over the next few weeks...so...perhaps there will be a few more updates for USM yet. And one I know that we both want to happen...one that will involve a ring...in due time...though we also know that time wouldn't be too far away at all.
As a close friend told us this weekend "As far as I'm concerned, you guys are already married in spirit, and you have been for many many years...even during your guys previous relationships...you guys were always together where it counted, and where it lasts...at a soul level. You're just now thinking about making it official in body. And its about time too, that both of you finally wised up to what everyone else already knew just from looking at you both...lol"
I know this post is long...but it has been a long journey...and its also the start of another one...one I know will bring such happiness...thank you USM for listening to the ramblings of a 'teenager' who has finally found 'it'...I hope peace and love are not strangers in your own lives...
