Try this Start Internet Explorer (if it is not already started). On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab. In the Settings box, under Multimedia, click to select the Play animations in web pages check box, and then click OK |
Date: 3/4/2004 3:59:00 AM From Authorid: 30229 Awww, Sis... sorry this is happening to you, but being the computer dummy that I am, I have no answers, but on the bright side, there ARE several people here on USM that DO have answers and I know someone will be able to help. Now... just WHERE is my name frozen? hehe.. Hugggs... |
Date: 3/4/2004 4:00:00 AM From Authorid: 60052 If that doesn't work go to Tools - Internet Options - and click the Delete Files button under Temporary Internet Files, click the button to delete all offline content then click okay (this may take a while for the computer to accomplish) When that is done, click on the settings button, where it says Check for newer versions of stored page, make sure Automatically is clicked, then click ok, and okay again. Restart your computer and then come back to USM again and see if that has fixed the problem. Message me if you don't use Internet Explorer. |

Date: 3/4/2004 7:13:00 AM From Authorid: 13297 I would go to Microsoft and download the newest version of internet explorer. However, try what "to die for" said first. You might also go search for "spybot - search and distroy" and download it. It is a program that looks for spyware and removes it from your computer. I hope some of that helps. |
Date: 3/4/2004 12:06:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30747 Thanks for the suggestions and stuff. I'm going to try what To Die For said. (by the way, I'm just seeing "To".) LOL Gail I see you. I mean I see "Gail". Thank goodness you weren't stuck on LL or I would be totally confused. I see everyone here's name too except for "Maj" but that's okay. I know who you are. *smiles* |
