Thru turmoil and distrust
Thru hatred and regret
Between the bitter battles
And the Earth shattering fights
In light of the agony of defeat
and the brillance of victory
Around the words of anger
and admist the whispers of love
I am always here.

Standing with my head held tall.
Do not forget the times
that my back was turned to you
I wanted nothing to do with you
I hated you
But in those times
I always returned

To be held by you
Comforted by you
My own stupididy.
Dont turn away yet

One who looks in would think me a masochist
A person searching for the most pain
The most agony

My anchor in this world
and while yes at times I have hated you
You are still everything to me
Remain my friend
