Apart from visiting your doctor, I would recommend that you visit a physiotherapist who can advise you of the correct way to carry another person. I'm having to do this now with my 9 year old son who is disabled. He's 62 lbs so my husband and I have to be very careful how we lift him. Our going to the gym helps by working on various muscle groups to aid our lifting. I hope this information helps you. Take care |

It could be. When I was younger my back messed up how I walked, I slouched and my foot went crooked from my heavy bookbag. But I got that fixed. |

Thankyou for the advice. My back is always hurting and I know him sitting on my hip is bad. Never thought of working those muscles worth a shot and fixing it |

you probally have back issues from giving birth that AND from carrying your son around puts a strain on your back and your body... unfortunately it probally isnt good for you maybe you can also alternate the side what you hip him on so that it works each side evenly |
