Officer questioned over drunk driving
Police in Yotsukaido, Chiba Prefecture, have questioned a prefectural police lieutenant whom they suspect of drunk driving, the police said Tuesday.
A car driven by the officer, 50, veered into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a passenger car driven by a company employee at about 10:55 p.m. Monday on a road in Yotsukaido, the police said. Both were unhurt.
According to Yotsukaido Police Station, the officer had drunk three bottles of beer with colleagues at a restaurant in Chiba after work at about 6:30 p.m. Monday. You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or
