This recipe is a family fav. at my house !! I use a crock pot although you don't have to you can use a big chili pot if you wish.

MOMMIES BEST CHILI

1 Pound lean ground beef

1 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion (the yellow ones hehe)

1 cup Green Bell Pepper

1 teaspoon minced garlic

3 cans (14.5 ounces) canned diced tomatoes with green chile peppers

2 Tablespoons brown sugar

1 Tablespoon unsweetened coco powder

2 Tablespoons Chili powder

1 pinch ground cumin (or a little less this spice is very very overpowering so tiny tiny pinch)

Brown meat in pan. Then add all ingrediants in to crockpot. Simmer for 5-6 hours stiring every so often. Top with cheese and serve with fresh corn bread!! Yum! This is a easy meal to just throw everything in crock pot and go shopping or whatever all day and come home to a finshed yummy dinner!!Enjoy!
