Sunflowers and daisys
All covered in blood
As she swam grasping
For air in her flood
The pressure's pushing
And down she goes
She tries so hard
To breathe from her nose
Her nails are turning blue
As she's thinking of you
Blood thickening behind her eyes
Starting to see his shallow lies
Through darkness and pain
Scars are all she gains
Nail polish so black
But she can't go back
Can't change what she did
Can't rephrase what she said
But she erases the memories
Inside her filled head
The rain pours down
Into her soul
Drowns the pain
And eats it whole
Don't wanna look back
Into my past
Cuz here I linger
Upon my ever-green grass
I breathe in the spirits
And let out fresh air
Don't have to worry no more
Cuz I don't care
I'm moving on
With my soft smooth skin
No more scars
Cutting me within
No more tears
For me to cry
I spread my wings
And to the sky
To the clouds
Alone but un-harmed
