I'm thinking about moving to Nebraska. I don't know why, so don't ask. LOL Maybe I'm temporarily going insane and that's contributing to this brain fart of mine. Anyways, I just wanted to know.....

DOES NEBRASKA HAVE ANYTHING???? Are there any big cities? Or interesting sites? Is it going to be worth it to move there, or am I going to be as bored to tears as I am here in North Dakota. At least it's got to be warmer there. Right? LOL Can't be too hard to be warmer than ND. But that's all. I'm going to stop now.

BTW: The place I'm thinking of moving to is Kearney. I know it's somewhere by Lincoln. Oh well. i'll find out when I get there. LOL I'm going to visit in March.

Date: 2/19/2004 7:56:00 AM  From Authorid: 15228    I've driven through Nebraska..they have some gas stations with restrooms, and lots of fields...trees in a few spots, that's all I can remember.

Date: 2/19/2004 8:08:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 55755    Well, trees is a definite plus. We are in short supply of those outside of town here. LOL
Date: 2/19/2004 8:23:00 AM  From Authorid: 12835    Those weren't tree's. They was corn....
Date: 2/19/2004 8:27:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 55755    Darn corn. LOL So, in other words, it's probably no better than where I'm at now? Oh well, maybe I'll still move there. It could be an adventure
Date: 2/19/2004 9:16:00 AM  From Authorid: 15228    Actually, it should have read "A" tree in spots.
Date: 2/19/2004 9:56:00 AM  From Authorid: 2030    Born and raised in Nebr. so is Sexxy penguin who you see around here from time to time. St.Pete wishes he was from Nebraska. Omaha is the largest city with roughly 350,000, Lincoln is second with around 85,000, memorial stadium in Lincoln is the second largest city during football games with 87,500. The whole state only has a population of about 1,500,000. I grew up out west near Chadron (about 70 miles south of the black hills). I think we had about 30-35 trees in the whole county.
Date: 2/19/2004 10:04:00 AM  From Authorid: 12835    Hey, one of my best friends was from Noth Platte. Did a lot of bass fishing there, and maybe drank a beer or two. Cabella's also resides in Nebraska, so I guess there are some good things to say about the state.
Date: 2/19/2004 10:59:00 AM  ( Admin-DNL )   I was born in NE but I only lived there until I was two. I go back and visit family often though. There are cities there, it isn't just corn! LOL. I love the feeling I get when I go there, it just seems so peaceful to me.
Date: 2/19/2004 11:33:00 AM  From Authorid: 53961    I live across the river from Omaha, Nebraska in Iowa. Lots to do over there. Just cheaper to live here
Date: 2/19/2004 11:35:00 AM  From Authorid: 53961    If you come down I am at Exit 1 on I-80! lol!
Date: 2/19/2004 12:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 2030    You'll re-think that offer if Penguin and I show up on your doorstep drunk one night.
Date: 2/19/2004 1:16:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 55755    LOL you people are nuts. HEHE...so should I move there or not? Would it be worth it I wonder? HHHMMMM. Guess only time will tell. LOL
Date: 2/19/2004 1:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 12835    Yeah Paula. If they ask for a push, it means they're sitting on the porch swing...
Date: 2/19/2004 2:21:00 PM  From Authorid: 62367    Omaha is a large city. Its supposed to be nice.
Date: 2/28/2004 6:53:00 PM  From Authorid: 3836    I live around where Hey, Hey Paula lives. Omaha is a big city. I really like it there. It's nice. I would like to live in a close suburb, like Bellevue. I encourage you to do some research. I think you'll really like it.
