StarTwo needs your prayers..PrivateLady

Hi ALL

StarTwo is going through a very rough time now and needs our prayers. I'm just going to copy and paste the last few e-mails from her so you know what I'm talking about.

Hi ya'll' You know its kind of funny when in just a few hours your whole life is sent into a tail spin. you know i told ya'll that lee and i had to go to the Dr,last week-"routine"just the regular stuff,blood pressure check,med-change.etc.well lee told the Dr.that his shoulder was still bothering him and that he thought that maybe his arthritis was acting up.Well,Dr FREI order some x-rays of his shoulder as well as his chest(lee had pnuemonia sometime back)and the Dr wanted to make sure it wasn't anything like that coming back,since lee worked out in the weather a lot. well,we didn't hear anything about the x-rays,so we summed all was ok...until this morning,the nurse..Florence called and ask lee to come in for some blood work,the the Dr wanted to sit up a CT,scatscan,I think I'm getting the spelling right,and more x-rays...it seems like the first x-rays he took last week,showed an "abnormality"in his right lung.and they want more testing done. well,we got the some of the test done today.blood drawn,but next Friday at 3 in the afternoon,they are going to do this scan of his chest,lungs. And we got 7 days to think about all this,to worry,wonder.and its hard holding me together,and was doing pretty good until i walked out on to the front porch and saw lee earlier. I ask him if he was ok,and he didn't say anything for a few minutes,then he turn and put his arms around me I'm really scared ya'll,we both are.and I've got a lump in my throat the size of a football,its going to be a long 7 days.I thought i could go threw this by myself,I can't. Lee didn't want any of the kids to know,as well as any of the family...not until everything was over,the testing,x-rays etc.But i have told the boys,Joe and wade. so,now we just wait. jeanie



look you guys,they called to push lee's appointment up to today......send some prayers,..I'm so scared.....................will talk later.we are going to RCH..(Roanoke cowman hospital).....x-ray dept....talk later...jeanie

well,ya'll the wait is over,the large mass that the x-ray picked up is a tumor,located at the top of lee's right lung close to his colar bone.the Dr.has sent for a specailist to come in and insert a neddle into lee's lung to draw out some fluid to see exactly what we are dealing with.as of now we are waiting on this.what is so hard to take is when lee had pnumonia several months back the Dr said this showed up.but didn't say anything because he thought the pnumonia was causing this.at anyrate it has got about an 7/8 months jump ahead on us.after he took the x-rays,the first time and we were waiting to go in this friday he compared how fast this thing had spread(according to him). We're getting the the children here later on to try and exsplain in more detail .as i told ya'll before the boys know some but not all.lee's family will be told by him,i'll be with him,if he ask.As of now ,I don't know,i suppose still in a state of shock,disbelief,angry,hurt....i'am not sure i can do this,i'll be in touch, love jeanie
