Well I work at a barn, and the owner Kara, might have to give away her bird who is a green cheek conure, his name is Sambucca A.K.A. Sammie. The cage comes with the bird and they're given away free. Now we have 3 cats and a hampster. Since this is my moms house 1 cat is at my dads house so we only have 2 cats here and a hammie. I'm very responsiable, I clean my hammies cage, give him new water daily, I feed him change his cage. I sometimes do the litter box but I usually feed the cats and I work after school and I have time for hw, and attention for the pets. Well Susie doesn't get much attention from me as she's always sleeping and her enemy is my baby boy, Sugar. I work horses at my job and love it. I really want this bird but I don't know how to prove to my mom I am responsiable enough, Conure's really love attention so I am willing to quiet my job and find something closer. My job is an hour and half on bus. I am willing to quiet to spend time with the bird. Our cats are ok, Susie sleeps through all of it (She's old) and Sugar, it takes him a week or two to get use to it, but he doenst even care anymore about the hammie. I really want this bird but don't know how to convince my mom I am dedicated. I'm even willing to pay for feed and clipping.etc.. Anyone got advice?. Thanks

LOL. I also threw around hints and showed to her how responsible I can be when involved in other things, such as doing chores, homework, and other things.
