The latest report is that the woman's husband is a soldier stationed at Ft. Lewis, Washington. This goes a long way in explaining the hand-grenade. But her geographical sense is still inexcusable. Basically she made the mistake of heading north on I-5, rather than south...which would have brought her to Vancouver, Washington.  |

Mrs. Strider...you may be thinking of the Ft. Lewis National Guardsman who was arrested following a sting operation in which he offered military information to undercover agents posing as members of Al Qaida. Different case. |
