My dolphin ring split too! I was a ring person, now, as I've got old(er). I'm down to just the two on the right hand. The left hand has remained ring free since engagement, marriage etc. In other words, I don't want to take away from those important rings, so you only see those ones on my left hand. Any of that make sense to you? lol. Does to me. (sad i know).

I only wear one ring, a necklace, a watch and 3 earrings....well thats for a normal day, if its a special ocassion, i'll wear something else nicer.  |

i reckon i used to have this EXACT ring becky, except in silver. anyway, why dont you take both rings to the jewellery guy and see if he can fix the one your aunt gave you, perhaps use the gold from the original one to strengthen the band so it doesnt snap again  |
