Hey everyone!
How does this poem sound?....
Guiltiness is the ocean.
The deep, shadowy sea is full of wild creatures.
They roam about the ocea floor
Just waiting for your arrival.
Waves begin to haul you under
When you are begging to get out.
But it is too late.
The storm is now in progress.
There's no holding back.
Even Pinocchio couldn't get out.
Bloodcurdling screams are heard.
Is it time now?
Is the truth ready to come out?
The truth will get you on a boat.
But beware, my friend,
It may not float.
I have to write an extended metaphor poem for school. It has to use a clear metaphor, allusion, and descriptive nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. And the thing about Pinnochio, well that's supposed to be my allusion. LOL! So do you think this is any good?
