So, I was thinking of travelling around Europe with a friend or two after highschool. What would you suggest I pack? Where would you suggest we go? What things should we see? Where's your favorite lace to go in Europe? :-D

-Agent Q-

P.S.- I really want to visit Scotland. :-D

Date: 2/15/2004 9:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 54987    Okay.... Scotland is a must. Ireland is expensive but would be great. Paris is actually overated, but good for the first time visit. Don't go on the metro at night.... for pickpockets ... they are notorious.... believe me! Same goes for Madrid. A good place is Barcelona. in all European cities always watch out for pickpockets. Wear a money belt. Don't put your wallet in your back pocket without a button fastener. Amsterdam is fun. Venice is superb. Rome is polluted, but can be fun also. I'd personally stick to the UK where you can be certain of having a good time and make yourself understood. Edinburgh in Scotland is fantastic.... also Glasgow. Wales is rugged and beautiful. The Lake District of England is the most amazing place.... full of lakes and mountains .... breathtaking. Rnt a class C motorhome and go travelling... great fun. I'd like to go....like my uncle... he told me all this and he should know... he's a well seasoned traveller.
Date: 2/16/2004 4:11:00 PM  From Authorid: 20956    i loved Venice, thought Paris was highly overated. Also loved England and Nice. Scotland would be great, didnt get to go there
