However, the term is also very loosely used with many other off-shoots and systems, so it might be a good idea to choose a specific style for your contrast. Korean Tae-Kwon-Do is generally more sport-oriented, often focusing more on kicks then handstrikes, and seems to be the most widely-practiced ( and most widely cracked on ) martial art in the United States. |
