Hey everyone, as most of you know, im a lil uhhh korky...LMAO well today I asked my mom if she had any odds n ends of fabric that I could possibly mess around with. So she took me outside to the shed n looked through lots of boxes. She had about 6 piled up so she set the next one on the ground next to the tower of boxes. I was looking through fabric with her and she asked me to take some inside, so I stepped backwards and fell over the box on the ground n all the fabric I had round my neck (she thought it looked stylish *LOL*) went flying and so did I. I fell right on my butt. All the boxes around me feel too, so there I was, lying on the ground outside, aurrounded by fabric and fallen boxes, laughing my butt off. As I got up, I felt a sharp pain go up my lower back...so my question is...Is there such thing as breakin your butt bone? I prob didnt break it, prob just bruised it, but my mom says there isn't and I say there is...LOL I cant bend down or walk too fast. It really hurts :-( So what do you think?

My Mom really hurt hers when she fell off aladder in Dec. it still bothers her and a coworker's daughter fell and cracked hers she had to have pain shots and sit on a foam donut for a long time. I hope you just bruised the muscle

Date: 2/8/2004 6:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 53360    Yep, its your tailbone, but if you cant bend over, you might have possilby slipped a disk, you should go to the doc if it doesnt get better in a few days
Date: 2/8/2004 6:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 12966    yea, you can bruise it or even crack it and it hurts REALLY badly! When my mom was pregnant with my sis she fell down the stairs and cracked her coccyx or "butt bone" and she said it was extreme pain!
Date: 2/8/2004 7:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 54987    You can break or badly bruise your coccyx which is what you call your butt bone. When you fell and took the impact on the bone it would have sent shock waves up the spine. You really need to have it looked at. Is it bruised?

Date: 2/8/2004 10:35:00 PM  From Authorid: 19460    i broke my tailbone twice... once i was trying to carry my baby down the stairs and a stray dog was in the way at the top of the stairs. So I kicked towards him to shoo him off the stairs and Wheeeeeeeeeee there I went... my butt hit every step! And my poor baby went flying and landed in a pile of leaves (Thank God!!!) but he was ok and I broke my bootay bone LOL And then just last October I went skating with the kids and I thought I was supercool, but I hadnt skated in 10 years. mmmm hmmm there I went, crash bang boom... broke my bootay bone again LOL And that junk hurts! I could sit without whining and crying by about Christmas, i guess.,
