Over the years there have been many, many televsion programs that were good and some that should have never left the studio they were made in! I was just watching a show that featured a picture of "Alf" and I thought to myself, "That was such a good family show". My favorite one was him dancing to "Old Time Rock and Roll". Love it! Still gets me going!

How about you all? Do you have a favorite oldie but goody that you wish you had taped for posterity?

My father had bought the Johnny Carson series and then gave them to me. I watched and laughed so much and reminisced. We when donated them to the public library so we can still check them out, while sharing the good times with others.

Have a great nostalgic day!

Paula

I got into it by watching the series (2 seasons) on DVD...it was so intelligent, and had wonderful plots. It shouldnt've been cancelled. I also love watching Three's Company on Nick at Night...such a shame about John Ritter. -=+GG+=-

Date: 2/8/2004 3:35:00 PM  From Authorid: 27403    "Northern Exposure"!! That was the neatest, strangest, and funniest show I have ever watched. I did get to tape about 20 hours of the reruns, but I wish I had them all. That show was just weird!!! But, weird in a good way so that people that do not even like weird likest it. I even wish just the writers or directors would do another like it, but I really loved the Alaska setting, as that made it unusual too. Love and Light

And Good Times. I still watch it sometimes when it reruns on FOX real late at night. I was so glad that Carol Burnette comes on TVLand now (or maybe its Nick AT night) not sure which one, but its back on! I watch alot of Lucy reruns. I adore that woman! Reminds me of a time when the family would sit down and watch them together. Anymore it seems everyone is so busy that family time is a rare happening. I liked the old Ed Sullivan show when I was a kid. Now I'm telling my age! lol!
