why penny44 is gone.....when she will return...catz_tat

On the night of February 3rd my mom's apartment building, on the fourth floor where her apartment is, caught on fire. A man down the hall was drinking and put a still smouldering cigarette out and then dumped the ashtray in the garbage. The fire department evacuated at least 150+ residents due to smoke and flames. Damages were over $50,000.00 and 20 were kept in the super8 motel by the red cross. Penny44 was among those that were kept homeless for awhile. No one was hurt, and mom is doing fine if a little homesick and missing all of you at usm. In a couple of days mom's apartment will be smoke-free and cleaned and she will be able to return and say hi. Thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers, and I am grateful that I was off the road long enough to be here for her throught this, and to let her friends know where she is.
