Yesterday (2/4/04) around 5:30pm I got home from picking up a large pizza. About a 20 minutes before I got home, my best friend had called saying he was going to come over to my house to visit and he'd be at my house by the time I would get back. (I hadn't seen him in almost 5 days, even tho we talk everyday and we usually see each other every day so I missed him.) Anyway, so I get home and was walking from my car to my front yard and I looked down the street to see if I could see my friend walking and as I got to my front door to unlock it, I saw my friend standing on the corner about to cross the street. He was wearing a gray and blue sweater, blue jeans and had his bass with him in a gig bag...he appeared so close. Well, I felt dumb because I had forgotten my house keys so I smiled at him, put up my hand as if to say "wait" and went to the side of the house to go through the back door.I came in really quick so I could open the front door and let him in. But when I went outside, there was no body. I even went back to my car to get my cell phone and I was looking around for him everywhere. Then my phone rang and I answered and it was him. I asked, "where are you?" and he said that he was barely walking to my house. I was like,"no I just saw you, I swear." I started freaking out cuz when I saw my friend he was BARELY showing up to my house, still walking down the street and wearing his back pack, a baseball cap, a Pink Floyd t-shirt and blue jeans. He looked TOTALLY different from when I first {thought} I saw him! It freaked us both out cuz now I dunno who or what it was that I saw. There wasn't another person. I was SO sure I had seen him that I would have bet my life on it. Well, he has this book on mysterious stuff and it says in there that if you see a double image of someone who is alive, it means they're going to die or something. He doesn't want to die and OF COURSE I don't want him to so I'm worried and confused as to what it was I saw. I hope it doesn't mean something bad. I thought maybe cuz i missed him so much or cuz I was expecting him that I imagined it. But my imagination isn't usually that vivid. It's weird. *PLEASE* someone if you could explain it or shed some light on it. *THANK YOU!*

Scary stuff! My mom has also seen this with my dad. Not sure how common this is but scary nonetheless. (((hugs)))
