I dont think they celebrate any holidays including birthdays. I had a friend that was Jahova Witness and she wasnt even allowed to accept a gift from me for her bday. So I would always give her something a couple days before or after her bday and say it was just for being my friend. Also she wasnt allowed to stay at school for Christmas, Valentine, Halloween or any other holiday type parties. ![]() |

I had a friend in high school who was a Jehovah's witness and she said something about not being allowed to wear jewelry or something like that. Maybe you should look this up on the internet. ![]() |

If Your Daughter and son in law are serious about thier spiritual life then they should be doing thier own due diligence and search for truth. They should be aksing why there is divisions within the faith and why the faith cant even decide which books and writings belong in the bible of the faith. They should be made aware that the church is the people, not the building. To go to a building to worship thier god is between themselves and thier god. Location and man made labels on the building has no bearing on this short time they spend worshipping thier god. Im sure thier god would not ignore them, thier prayers or devotion just because they are in a building with a man made label placed on it. Bye for now. Enki ![]() |

Well I suppose, when you decide to take on a religion you don't do it for any other reason than to practice it because you believe it to be the truth. To decide on a religion because of fringe benefits LOL is not accepting it for what it is. Choice of belief is a serious undertaking and not something you do as a compromise. Maybe they should spend some time looking into what the 'really' believe before they look for a religion to fit. ![]() |
