my life has been saved many times by friends i have met online. friends i feel safe to let know how im feeling, friends who care enough to talk rationally to me and calm me down enough. to stop me from doing something they know i honestly dont want to do. iternet friends are real, are true even if you only know them by the way they type words.. how fast, how slow, which words they always misspell and what words the use over and over. you learn personalities of people so easily thru how they express themselves.. you just have to look deeper when you cant touch the person.  |

well, as long as u don't give out personal info than internet friends are good. But about the caft thing, that lady is very lucky that she had people online watching her, and if she didn't, than who knows if she would have gotten help yet.  |

So very true MG. I have made some of the best friends EVER online and I could not imagine my life without my buddies in it. It's true though you have to be careful where you place your loyalties..sometimes others take advantage of the friendship and the love shared amongst those friends..very sad indeed.  |

Hmn...My internet friends have helped me out so many times. I'm so thankful for them. I agree with HJ. As for the whole trust thing. I talk to one of my best friends from Canada on the phone all the time. Another one of my best friends from Kansas writes to me and calls sometimes. The only reason I give them my address or phone number is because I've known them for over 2 years. ^_^ Thanks for sharing this story! -hugs-  |

I met my best friend on the internet, he's a great friend indeed.. he's helped me in ways that my therapist couldn't help me and saved my life before. It's great that you can just meet someone so great online ya know?  |
