Cage I would start riding the bus with him! Bring along a video camera! Use your rights! This happens more than you know! Kids get labeled & they never have a chance again! I would end it by being present! Good luck! That really sucks! |

Is there any way that you can drive him to school? I know that you shouldn't have to do that but I don't really see any other solution. That just what I would do. |

First I'd try to schedule some sort of meeting with the bus driver and company, and tell them how you feel about this. Remind them about all the disorders your son has, and that he can't help it, but he never gets this way, plus the bus driver could always be overreacting. May even have them talk to your sons docter. About the piece of paper with the bad words, of course he couldn't have written it, some one else would have. By any chance does your son have any bullys at school? Because maybe they threw the paper, and made it look like he did it. They'd have to do something about this, because if you son can barely write, and theyre saying he did write this, then this bus driver is obviously making up crap because she has a problem with your son, or she's overradcing. If this still doesn't work, maybe you could find someone, a parent who takes their kid to school, to also give your son a ride. Either way, I hope everything works out. |

Moon Girl has a good idea too. Maybe you could sit in the back, and video tape them, and if your son doesn't do anything wrong, then you should have something to show the bus company. |

i asked about the video cameras. i was told that most of the busses have them, but his doesn't. which makes no sense to me because his school is a school designed to handle kids with behavior problems. busses to those schools should have them. i have a meeting at his school this week. i am definitly going to bring this up then. i am also calling them in the morning. I want the teacher to look at this paper and tell the driver that there is no way my son could have wrote this. maybe if they hear it from someone else, they'll lay off for a while. i am just so fed up with them. it is getting to the point where i dread putting my son on the bus in the morning. all i know is that this is going to stop somehow. thanks for the advice everyone |

I'm only 10 but it sounds like to me the bus driver doesn't care who really did the bad things he's just going to blame your son anyhow. Some bus drivers are like that. Pretty sad. But I think you should go over the driver's head and talk to the big wigs at the school. good luck on getting it taken care. |

Sounds to me like your son needs to be designated to sit in a certain spot every day. Perhaps behind the bus driver, that way when stuff happens, your son cannot be to blame. Also, the bus driver should be taking all these aspects of your son's disorder into consideration, if he/she doesn't, then you need to take this up with the principle of the school. |

thanks for the advice everyone. i am going to call the school and see what can be done. if i have to, i will see if they can send a different bus for him. i have a conference at the school this week, so hopefully i can get something done through them. i called the bus company again this morning, and they still won't do anything. it's their word against mine and my sons. it just get's me so angry. thanks again everyone |
