I appreciate Your humour King, but I found this story quite alarming in light of the numerous assaults done on kids in recent years by Priest,Pastors and Clergy within the Christian church.  |

Is this going to be a move in and permanently live there kind of community? Where you buy a home and set down roots and everyone goes naked? Or is this just a resort you visit on vacation? I would think this would be a place you just wouldn't take children if it is indeed a resort area... If it is like a sub-division, nudist colony - I understand your concerns Enki.  |

Hi Eimaj, I dont anything more about this than what the article says. I would think that some people will be there year round but that some of the houses will be rented by the week/month. Im concerned though because You just know that amongst the people will lurk those who would do harm to kids and having kids running around nude will just draw the creeps to the area. |

I am totally against it. I agree with you a lot Enki. Not a place for kids to be exposed to (in more than one way), it's not Christian cuz *real* Christians wouldn't open a nudist beach, resort, NOTHING. I hope someone sets it on fire (not to be violent sounding), but I've heard too about kids being harassed by priests or whatever. Sounds like just a place where so called Christians want to...you know. This doesn't sound like a typical Christian thing, we're suppose to gather together to worship Christ, not to be naked. The Bible has a lot of similies and metaphors and stuff like that, they've misinterpreted it. I have my opinions and strong beliefs about this stuff.  |

Hi Knightmare, thanks for the clarification. I see now. So the owner of this resort is spending lots of money building a church and parking lot on the premises as a way of fooling people? Yeah right. I suppose all those convicted Priests,Pastors, Reverands and Clergy werent really priests, pastors, reverands and clergy either huh. |

It will be interesting to see what "Christians" actally attend this nudist camp/resort. Personally, I hope it goes out of business or is forced to take on non-Christian clientele. I suspect most of the people who go to the resort may call themselves "Christian" but reality may be quite different.  |

Yep Mare, If You look up above^^^^^ at my comment to Kelly You would have seen that I already dug it. I am so amazed that You are able to judge what is truly in thier hearts. Doesnt the bible teach not to judge others. Also since You have this ability to know what is truly in the hearts of men then how is it that so many child molestors are able to penetrate into the heirarchy of the church and harm children? |

I agree that is is not a good place to have children..... no nudist camp is in my view, but some people have made it sound like it is more dangerous to children because it is religious... Why burn it down? It would be much better to lobby the local government to pass a law that children can't go perhaps, becuase if they are burnt down, they will just get built again.  |

I too share the concerns of those who worry about the children who might be brought into this place! Those who are inclined to harm innocent little children will no doubt have a veritable "heyday" here! Since the morals of so many religions seem to be deteriorating today ... then I am in no way surprised at what is transpiring here... it is only the beginning!  |

Hi Posey, I read a couple years ago that there are over 2,000 different branches of Christianity. Everything from Snake handlers in West Virginia to the Opus dei. Opus dei is an extreme right wing of the catholic church and they believe in whipping themselves daily until they bleed. The various branches of christianity cant even agree on which books belong in the bible. so it is not surprising to see some christians who think cavorting about anked in front of children is Okay with thier god. Boggles the mind doesnt it. Some of the more interesting stuff I have read was a few years ago. I was reading a very thick book about the early days of the christian church when they were trying to decide which books and gospels would be included in the bible. Wow, it was unreal. Bishops were hiring the toughest thugs they could find to remove the competition, so to speak. At another time the disagreement grew so bitter that the Eastern Orthodox church set up thier own Pope and ignored the Pope of Rome. Take care. Enki |

As for the statement "the first 500 years after the death of Christ, mass baptisms were done nude"..I would ask that he shows me book, chapter and verse to prove such a statement. It will not be found in God's Word. |
