i was just wondering if anyone here has been to a psychologist and doesnt mind admitting it and telling me about what it was like. Im thinking about going to one, but i want to know what it is like before actually doing it. Is it just you talking the whole time or do they ask you questions? things like that are what i am wondering about. I dont wanna be the only one talking. Im not very open but i feel like i should be talking to one. I feel like if i dont go im gonna miss something i need to hear. Does that make sense? So i was just wondering if you guys could tell me a little bit about them. thanks! much love, rekles

See, I have a homework issue, don't think like others (or so the doctors say), and not the symptoms of add. You're only three years older than me, so you should have a similar experience. I was mainly comfortable with all but one, my current psychiatrist. He's just...off-putting. But anyway, they'll ask you some questions about you, then ask you about any personal experiences you've had. It's a little awkward for the first few minutes, but then it gets much easier. It's not like boot camp or anything. Anyway, I hope that you have an easy time going. From,

Yes they do ask questions at least mine did and eventually that'll get you talking. But honestly answer the questions they ask and tell them everything on your mind because they can really help *hugs*

I am suppose to see one told by my school psychologist last year from being depressed and having cruel parents, but my parents won't let me of course. I am 17 so I have to wait a year until I can see one. But aren't they expense. I WISH there was a way where I can talk to one online somewhere!!
