He ran outside to see her getting into her car. He ran over and pounded on the window.
“Andrea, don’t leave please. Don’t leave me,” Michael screamed. “I love you, please.”
She didn’t even react to him. Turning the car on she sped off down the road. He chased her for as long as he could by foot but it was no use. He wasn’t going to catch her. Just as he was ready to give up he saw the light turn yellow. Yes, he thought to himself, maybe I can catch up with her after all.
He started to run as the light was changing from yellow to red. His thoughts were all on her. Seeing her, apologizing to her, and just holding her to tell her how much she meant to him.
Time seemed to stop for a moment as he ran. She sped up to make it through the yellow. Just as she did another car was coming through the light that just turned green. She must not have been thinking, she didn’t have her seat belt on. The car got hit on the drivers side. She flew forward and hit the windshield.
“Andrea!: he screamed in bloody murder. “NO!!”
He ran toward the car as it caught fire. Tears filled his eyes as one person started to call 911 on their cell phone.
“Andrea!”
He couldn’t believe his eyes. She was standing in front of him perfectly fine. Like nothing had happened.
“Andrea I thought I lost you.” he said tears running down his face. “I thought I lost you forever. I love you.”
She hugged him tight. “You’ll never lose me. I promise.”
