Hi Dreamer, it problably happens much more frequently than we hear about. At least the person who dumped this kitten put it where it would be found quickly and also in a place where it wouldnt be attacked by dogs or other animals and wouldnt be run over by a vehicle. Bye for now. Enki  |

Being as young as this kitten was, its mom may have put it there while she was out foraging for food, it may not have been a person abandoning the kitten. |

Hi Moon, That is a possibility but I doubt it. The machine was outside and the trough is a couple feet off the ground. The Young lady and kitten had thier picture on the front page of the local paper and it sure didnt look like it was the product of a stray cat. You may be right though. Take Care. Bye for now. Enki |
