Pepsi machine dispenses Kitten,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,by Enki

Hi Guys,

A couple weeks ago up here in the freezing north a Young Lady was on her way to work. She decided to pick up a can of pop (Soda) for her lunch. She inserted the change, made her selection and got more than she bargained for. The machine dispensed her Pepsi and also a small white kitten.

Seems someone had dumped the kitten by placing it in the trough where the cans land. Sometime during the night the kitten must have hooked the flappy door open and climbed inside the chute to get some warmth from the motor.

The young lady brought the kitten to the Vet just two doors down from where she works. He checked it out and pronounced it healthy although it was too young to determine the gender. That was no problem though as she has decided to keep the kitten and give him a home and she named it Pepsi.

Bye for now. Enki

How it changed my life:

it didnt.

Date: 1/19/2004 12:29:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11528    Hi Dreamer, it problably happens much more frequently than we hear about. At least the person who dumped this kitten put it where it would be found quickly and also in a place where it wouldnt be attacked by dogs or other animals and wouldnt be run over by a vehicle. Bye for now. Enki

Date: 1/19/2004 12:37:00 PM  From Authorid: 16442    Being as young as this kitten was, its mom may have put it there while she was out foraging for food, it may not have been a person abandoning the kitten.

Date: 1/19/2004 12:40:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11528    Hi Moon, That is a possibility but I doubt it. The machine was outside and the trough is a couple feet off the ground. The Young lady and kitten had thier picture on the front page of the local paper and it sure didnt look like it was the product of a stray cat. You may be right though. Take Care. Bye for now. Enki

Date: 1/19/2004 1:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 3263    Awww!! That's cool that she kept it. It makes me so mad that people dump animals, and it's even worse that this kitten was so young that the gender couldn't be determined!! I'm glad this story has a happy ending Thanks for sharing, Enki.

Date: 1/20/2004 11:12:00 AM  From Authorid: 27403    That is just the cutest story I have heard lately. Kind of warms the heart. Even though, makes you hope whomever dumped the kitty had to spend the freezing nite in a GoodwillBox. Love and Light
