When I was in elementary school i collected rubber stamps. Then in Jr and High School I collected mouse stuffed animals. And now, I have a collection of my favorite author's books and lip glosses.  |

I used to have a snow globe collection except when I was about four I stood on the bottom drawer of dresser to reach the top one to pull out my night gown but the dresser fell over (almost killing me) and all my snow globes except for about 3 broke  |

Hello MS, You have posted a subject that is near and dear to me.I own an antique shop. If you didn't catch my first story, then I'll explain. The Woodshed is the name of my store and my handle here at USM. I do collect things. Right now on my kitchen wall there are hanging 236 different miniature cast iron skillets. I also collect the old rubber tire ashtrays that were once found in every gas station in the country. And (eweuuuuueee) antique spitoons, cuspidors, is a better name for them. I have all the Nintendo systems and I collect the games for them. For regular Nintendo I have games like Link and Zelda  ! I have all the Zelda games also for each system...I'm hoping to collect alot more games, kool post!  |

I collect websites about anything that I find of interest. I have several hundred sites saved in "favorites". I also have well over a thousand images saved in My Pictures file. These images are of anything from a to z, from the good, the bad, and the ugly. I use them to make slide shows, & wallpapers. I also collect music from my local library system. I buy 120 minute recording tapes, and dub the CDs that I get and add them to my own collection. I have saved many hundreds of dollars this way. Fortunately The King County Library system has an outstanding collection of CDs & tapes.  |

Now I collected books and had 1200 of them but had to get rid of half of them when I moved across country. I am back up to 700 now. I also collect polar bear figurines. My most humerous one is sugar packets from restraunts LOL Seriously I take one of each time every time I go out....I've got ALOT...let's just say I'm set for life on sugar packets. Funny thing is dad found me a Bday card this past year about getting older and it's like 'So...your still stealing sugar packets...' open it up...'yep...your still good' or something like that...it was hilarious...wish I knew where it was.  |

Aliens/UFOs and related collectables...have some rather impressive and interesting things, such as a glowing glass 'Specimen Container/Cylinder' with a life-size latex Face-Hugger from the Aliens movies inside it...its also motion sensitive, so if you move in front of it the Face-Hugger slams up against the glass of the cylinder and moves around like its trying to get you. Also have a 2 foot tall model of the Queen Alien, also from the Alien movies. One of my most tresured items is a genuine Borg 'Side-facial Implant Unit' (those lazer eye-pieces/implant couplings that the Borg have on the side of their heads)...and actual Star Trek TNG prop from the series I also kinda collect carparts...well, I blow bits apart on my cars while racing and just kinda throw them in the corner of the garage...hahaha.
