Hi King, I read this story a few weeks ago. Its quite interesting. I think the scary part of it is that those volcanoes out in the west tend to be explosive rather than just slowly spewing lava. God help ya if it does blow. Bye for now. Enki |

Where did you get the info from KC? I've known about this for a while. It was even on the discovery channel. You see this just makes me mad that we the people are not being made aware of what is going on. There isn't anything we can do to stop it, but we could get people out. It's the same ol Noah story. There'll always be people who won't believe. Great post. |

Hi King, In one of the other stories I read about Yellowstone it mentioned that one area of the park had risen over 20 inches in just a few months. Something is building up some immense pressure under there. Question is when will she blow. Could be days or decades before it happens. Glad they are monitoring it though.Sad thing is, just like Mt. St. Helens blew there were still some folks who refused to evacuate the area. Bye for now. Enki |

I know it, people are not being told of the risk and danger. I myself am not moving even though I am within the 600 mile death zone. I am on the outer distance of the 600 miles and north west...I guess I'll hope that it blows to the east, LOL. Sorry everybody who lives to the east of Yellowstone, but do you blame me??? If I lived within 100 or 200 miles of Yellowstone I'd for sure be considering moving. This baby will blow, someday.....2500 times greater than Mt. Saint Helens, holy crap!!!! |

Old Faithful is just getting a little bigger, thats all. I've read lots of articles on this, including the fact that fish are dying in the lakes. Imagine, fried fish without all the mess at home. I'm staying away for a while.... |

I have heard about this many times on the Coast to Coast show. I guess we can't say that we haven't been warned. It likely will be an implosion, rather than an explosion...but that will be just as devastating. |

It's interesting that the Parks Bureau and the government has not issued any warnings. |

Good Evening KC. Was surfing Yahoo and typed in Super Volcanoes and I didnt really pay that much attention to the author on the link but the search engine suddenly signed me into USM and on your post. After a brief chuckle and a recap I also saw Oddy's links and I will say thanks again for entertaining me tonight. And as I stated before I hope it never blows in mine or your lifetime. |
