You know, I will never understand people. Right now, I am visiting my mother down in Georgia although I live in New york with my husband. He calls me this morning to tell me that after he got off of work last night, he was robbed at knifepoint by 3 guys. He had just gotten paid. He was leaving the place and as he turned the corner this guy grabbed him and threw him up against a wall and put a knife to his throat, and told him to give him all his money. They took everything he had. All of his money, his wallett with all his identification in it, our house keys and even his jacket. Its freezing and snowing up there. They made him lay down on the ground and took off in a car. He had just recently got this job and we are living paycheck to paycheck. That is all the money he has. When he told the landlord he got robbed, he said..."Umm okay, well, I want the rent." We wont be able to pay the rent. This sucks so bad! Thank GOD he wasnt hurt or even worse. I hope they catch who did this. He said he got a good look at them and if he saw pics, he could identify them. This has really scared the crap out of me! Please pray they catch these guys. Thanks for listening.

Adrienne

And that landlord sounds like a loser for saying that he still wants the rent even though your hubby just got robbed at knife point. sheesh some nerve.

I'm not saying this is the same. Just made me think of it. Sorry to hear about it. Hope it doesn't end badly.
