Orbs and the Digital Camera...........Garbage

  Author:  24673  Category:(Interesting) Created:(1/18/2004 2:37:00 PM)

I have read a lot of articles stating that using a digital camera gives a lot of false orbs. They say it is dust, humidity, etc. and that most of them are fake. Well, that may be true, but what about taking hundreds of photos with the digital and not getting any orbs and then getting a picture with an orb or two. Same day, same location same circumstances. I personally have noticed that I get "orbs" during happy events, such as children at Christmas or when my brother plays fun songs on the piano. Many times I have noticed this to happen and I really don't know why they wouldn't be in all of the pictures if it were dust or humidity.

Another time I get them is when we are in a ghost hunt situation where our senses are heightened. One orb I especially like is on my mother's arm while she is sitting in the chair my father was sitting in when he died.

So I'm not too sure about brushing them off as not being real just because they show up so much more when using a digital camera. Maybe it's because they are made in such a way that they are able to "see" what the old cameras cannot see. I do realize that dust can make orbs but they really do look different.

How it changed my life:

Just a few thoughts on a subject that has bothered me a little. It is still something that cannot be proven one way or the other.

Date: 1/18/2004 2:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 12133    I think the orbs generally are dicounted in digital pics, more at night, becuase suppusedly the camera fills in spots it doesn't register, due to darkness. And a lot of these look like orbs. I have a bunch of orb pics too, and I believe that they are genuine orbs also.

Date: 1/18/2004 2:51:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 24673    The orb photos I have were taken in the house during the daytime when there was a lot of light. The ghost hunting photos were taken in the dark and they look really neat to me--and they are not in all of the photos. Sometimes I take 70 pic without an orb and then I'll get one. Thanks for your reply. bye,

Date: 1/18/2004 4:02:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 24673    Sport Angel you just go to prove that these pictures of orbs are not fakes, some of them maybe, but not all of them. If you ever get one you will enjoy seeing it. Sometimes if you enlarge different areas of your photos you may find one that you didn't even know was there--especially when they are on a light background. Thanks for your reply.

Date: 1/18/2004 4:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 12133    we have a bunch more, of other things. we DID have seom of "Stuckey's Bridge" which is the oldest bridge in SM. Very interesting. It also has stories online about it. And some of the haunted hospital, in Laurel, MS and a haunted graveyard here also. Its called "Rosehill" and its in Meridian, MS. All of these can be found online
Date: 1/18/2004 6:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 54987    Yeah it is so true. I have taken a set of photos with my digital camera, and maybe one or two will have these orbs. One i took 4am ... no sun but it showed a huge glowing orb. It was at a place that was reputed to be magical. Anyway a friend sent me an orb photo showing faces inside the orbs. So, I know it is a real phenomena and not just dust.
Date: 1/18/2004 6:54:00 PM  From Authorid: 12133    there is one in those pics that is on that link, that looks like a smiley face, turned sideways
Date: 1/18/2004 7:02:00 PM  From Authorid: 57653    I think one of the major issues when it comes to digital cameras and orbs is that it's hard to get up close to the orb to really check it out. The more you zoom in on a digital picture the larger the pixels get - you actually lose detail. With traditional 35mm you can get much better detail. As digital technology becomes more advanced the more likely digital photos of orbs will become more accepted. I would suggest checking the screen of your digital camera after each photo and if you think you see an orb quickly snap a photo with a 35 mm camera.
Date: 1/19/2004 1:48:00 AM  From Authorid: 62085    if its dust, it wont be transparent, orbs are usually perfect circles also. Next time try to enlarge the pic/orb on the computer. Many times i have seen a distinct demonic face in the ones i have photographed.
