I don't know a single person who isn't in debt. She worked to pay for her bike, so I say let her work to pay for the wedding as well. That's pathetic. My hubby and I never had a honeymoon. Maybe I'll start a begging site...I mean website. NOT |

Cynthia should get off her tush, go to college, get a job, save money, and THEN GET MARRIED in the "WEDDING OF HER DREAMS" with money that she should have SAVED for it; and quit begging off of innocent bystanders. People like this irritate the bahosamine out of me. |

That is kind of silly. Though in my year book from last year. A woman made up a site asking people to help her get out of debt. Sure enough people sent in money, and helped her pay it off. Now she is no longer in debt. But for a wedding? I agree get real. |

My brothers wedding costed somewhere around $2500 (US currencey) and it was at a park beside the river. Hers is $15000?? What are they doing releasing 1000 pigeons or doves to celebrate and then a glass carridge ride from the altar to the four story wedding cake? Get real. |

When hubby and I got married it was in a tiny little chapel. This thing was so small it only seated 9 people. We had the reception at our house. I made my own wedding cake, designed my own dress (someone else sewed it). Everything cost less than $500. To spend that kind of money on a wedding when you DONT have the money to spend is stupid. I wonder if anyone has donated. |

true Becky.... If you can afford it then its ok. But if not why resort to this?? If I get married its this simple. Pack of nabs, one pepsi, and a honeybun. Thats the wedding feast. Me, her and the preacher. eight words... Do you? I do. Do you? I do. 20 spitcups tied to the back of a four wheel drive Ford Tractor. A tent and a bag of marshmallows. One can of insect repellant. Thats about it. |

Ok, couldn't finish reading her "SAD" story. The whole thing is so disgusting, she has no shame. I for one have always wanted a small wedding or at least to the extent of my finances. If she wants to satisfy her need for finer things then go to a stupid reality show and marry the first guy that waves a million bucks in her face, I would be surprised if she actually loves the groom, it seems she loves luxury even more. |

Oh my word, there is something to be said for the idea that happiness comes from within ... not from a big wedding. Nothing could have started out our 31 years of wedded bliss in a better way. My hunny and I had the smallest of weddings at his brothers house. I wore my mothers satin wedding gown, and we used the promise ring that had been on my finger for years as my wedding ring. As the years went by I have had many other wedding ring sets, but my promise ring sits in my safety deposit box because it is so precious to me. If I had to get married again, I wouldn't do anything different. We didn't start our marriage in debt, or with large amounts of stress over the wedding. It is strange what is important to different people. |

OMg, that is just so downright pathetic. *shakes head* I could have never been that low. Maybe someone should suggest to her what I did, MAKE EVERYTHING from all the attire to all the invites, and all the accessories.. Maybe then that will convince her to get off her jolly ol' rump and go over to the Justice and Peace and get married.. *winks* hehe *hugs* |

I think the woman needs to get off her butt and work off those debts. If she wants to get married fine, but have a little bit of pride and don't expect strangers to pay for it. She could go to the JP, and wait for her honeymoon. Just one word comes to mind....Tacky! Be Good... |

This is just plain downright silly, but I did go check out the website and she apparently has taken it down now. Here's what the message says: take my safety and that of my friends and family very seriously, therefore I have removed all content from my website due to some personal threats. It's very unfortunate that there are people out there who have nothing better to do with their lives than harass other people. I guess we aren't the only one's who didn't approve of her idea!!!
