Out of Darkness, Life is Found...Predictor

When a heart grows dark and cold,
all it sees is the bitterness in the soul
It will bring out the worse in fears
and make you think that no one is there

All it takes is one person around
to spark a trust and a friend to be found
Usually unexpected and out of thin air
this person will spark life and make a tear

You suddenly feel emotions you had forgot
ones that you never would've sought
Smiles and laughs fill your day
and soon all the hatred is easily erased

People try to taint a friendship so true
but in the end you find they are unhappy with you
You seem so joyous and happy these days
and they rather you stay the same old way

To thier dismay you keep changing for the best
And soon all you see is happiness and the hate is past
You stand tall and strong by your friend that gave you this way
A path of life and light, and not the darkness of the day

You can never say thank you enough in one day
for he took the darkness and left happiness inlaid
A friend you are, and always will be
For we found each other just when it was a need

So today I say with a true heart and smile
Forever friends is what we will be
I will never betray your trust
as you said you would do the same no matter what

So here is a new life I now start
For as friends, no matter where we end up, we will never be apart
