I was sixteen, going on seventeen that summer. I heard about Woodstock, but I was working seven days a week down on the Mississippi gulf coast and just about to get washed away by Hurricane Camille..lol..Got my first car in September '69. Oh well, too late. Hi Nimiwae The sixties were OK. I was just a little country boy, though. Groove me, baby..hehe..Right on! |

my mother in law was 14, and she didnt get to go. But I tell you she was the biggest hippie. And she still is LOL She doesnt have pics of Woodstock but she does have some cute pics of her in some belly shirts and bell bottoms. And she has an awesome collection of old patches of bands and some that say legalize you know what... she wont even part with her Aerosmith one... and she knows I am a huge Aerosmith fan. She said for me to leave her alone about them and I can have them someday LOL |

I was only 14 too, and I wanted to go. I bought a paperback book, in 1969, on the bands that were there. . That would have been neat, because a lot of those people have passed on. |

I almost went to Woodstock... Woodstock '99. My brother and his friends went, but I couldn't afford a ticket on my own. |

I was a little too young for the original Woodstock but I have cousins who went and have awesome stories about it. I almost went to Woodstock '99. It was held very close to where I live. I'm glad I didn't thouge. Apparently the world is not the same. |
