I'm sorry you feel that way. I guess for some people it isn't and it's tough. For me, though, I'm enjoying my years. |

I dunno...I"m still in school...I'm halfway through Junior year.....have I EVER had a boyfriend? NO. I've gone on a date once, but thus far, nothing has come out of it. Highschool is okay, but it can, like you said, be pretty cruddy. But don't be too pessimistic, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful life after highschool, just focus on your dreams and don't let anyone get in the way of them....just don't murder them or something if they ARE in your way. Like you'd do that! Lol...I know a lot of people who hated highschool too who are doing really well now, so you have hope. :-D Highschool isn't real life. Not all of it anyway. |

I suppose a few people enjoyed high school. But I didn't like all of the nonsense rules, the teachers half who reminded me of nazis, and it was not enjoyable going to school with some of the lowlife students. Yes there are situations like that everywhere in life, but they can be avoided better. I would not ever want to go back to high school, even if they happen to be the best days of my life. My dad was the Valedictorian of his class (this was in the day when kids were even able to bring guns to class) and he said he would never want to go back either. |

I enjoyed it but I did'nt, I've had my good times but after I gained 20 pounds everthing went down hill and it really bites.... But I am almost through my junior year and things are good... I'm losing weight... And kids are still cruel but I'm dealing.... But I can't wait till I graduate, you can't really do anything now days without a high school diploma... But yeah theres tough and good times in high school... But others jusy have a horrible time period... And others enjoy the time... |

I guess you could say I enjoyed it somewhat. I appreciated it for what it was during that time in my life but I never thought it was the best time. I was looking forward to going on to other things and other life phases. I have nice memories and some bad. When I graduated, older people kept telling me I'd miss it; how presumptuous to judge me based on their life. I don't miss it and I am really enjoying my life. Don't worry about the people judging what's going to be the best time in YOUR life. They don't know. I send good wishes that you'll go on to experience a life that makes you happy. *Hugs* |

When I was in high school, I also worked a job on the side. My senior year, I was working full time and going to school. It was noy easy, but I did it. Back then, I would have never believed those were the best days of my life. Now though, looking back, I know they were. |

Bojangles, when I was in school, I came close to dropping out. My grades were good, in fact, I was offered a couple of scholarships which I turned down. I just never felt like school would ever do me any good. Working like I did, I never had time for dating. In fact, I missed my senior prom because I was working. Once I gradutated though, my responsibility grew, and at times I felt they would overwhelm me. While in school, I did not have those responsibilities. At times, I longed for my old school days. As I said before, although I never believed they would be the best days of my life, now that I am much older, I know they were. |

I wouldn't say that high school is exactly the "best" times of someone's life, but there will come a day when you will realize they were the easiest and most carefree. I hated it when I was in high school, even though I really had no reason to, but I do understand now why they say that old saying. Love, |

Highschool was okay. After you take away the schoolwork, teachers, drama of course. LoL! Anyway, Its only what you make of it. And well, I didn't make much of it. I got good grades, I did what was expected of me .. And that was about it. I didn't feel the need to be with the 'cool' people or whatever. I just did what I had to do. I wouldn't go back if I had the choice. Id rather work, and get paid. |

ahha! I knew there were more seniors out there, than just me. Congrats...i understand how you feel. I keep to myself at school, i do talk to people, only if they attempt to talk to me, you know? I have always been one who wants to get out of school and never see it, well...i still do, but at the time i will miss parts of it, like stuff i participated in. yet, i feel i will truly be happy when i am gone, yet depressed to a point.. |

H.S. was horrible. It had alot to do with me turning into a drunk and a drug addict, so I did what I thought was right. I dropped out. Sure enough, about 2 weeks after I dropped out, I was clean. And have never touched anything again. |

ha if hight school were the best days of my life I would hate to see what the rest of my life is like cause I don't really fit into any croud not the preps ghettos punks or goths I am a driffter I just talk to nay person from preps to goths just if I get along with them then they are a friend sounds good to me. And I am 16 never had a boyfriend so meir. But who cares live your life wear what you want listen to what ever music you like and do the things you like doing outcasts youserly have good life after school cause they plan things instead of wasteing their time making sure they keep up with fashion (although if you want to follow fashion then do so) and making sure everyone likes them live for yourself hight school only lasts for 5 year and you ahve so many more years after that. |

Hey, hey, HEY! I'm going to be graduating soon too...in less than 5 months or so. I'm proud to say that I have NEVER had a bf throughout high school. To be honest, I go to a small catholic school and there isn't much to choose from. I don't have much to work with, haha. I've spent the last 4 years busting my but to get my high GPA, so that I can run...run far, far away to a good college. High school has been fun, but frankly, I'm bored of it. Let me graduate already. All I need right now is to be 18 and have a diploma in hand. |

I don't think that HS is the best time of your life. That is an old saying. When people look back at high school, after they have been working for a couple of decades, they often forget what the day to day reality of HS was like. The only thing that they're remembering is some of the good times. |
