The sky was bright that morning, clear blue with just a few clouds in sight. It was a warm day with a gentle breeze, the trees swayed back and forth, and for that moment, everything seemed alright. There in the shadow of an ancient oak tree sat a girl named Bella. She was dressed with black pants and a white tee-shirt; around her neck hung a beautiful gem and within it was a tiny angel. Enclosed in the gem was the word, dream. It was given to her many years ago, but she never knew the history or meaning behind it. She was quite shy but very polite and always kind to those she came into contact with. She carried with her a personal journal where she would jot down her ideas, poems, and dreams. She had light brown hair and sea-green eyes.
She looked up from her journal and closed it. She loved to write and often on her free time came down to her secret spot and would spend hours thinking and expressing her thoughts with pen and paper. She was also fond of music. She stood up and brushed herself off and began walking back toward her home. It was almost evening and she had spent most of the day here in her spot. She continued walking and admired the passing trees and flowers. Looking up through the branches of the trees she could see the sun going down, and the rays of light seemed to pour down onto her path. She was content much of the walk home until she realized she had lost her journal.
"I...I must have left it under the oak tree," she said aloud to herself.
She looked up and the sun was gone and the stars were shining bright above. She feared to go into the woods at night, for she did not like the dark. She stood outside the entrance unsure of what she should do. All her personal writings were in that book, what if she couldn't find it again.
Fear rose in her of both the darkness that laid before her and losing her most precious book. Her father would be worried sick, but she must go back and get it, she couldn't risk leaving it behind.
Just then, a thought flashed into her mind that jolted through her whole body leaving her in shock.
"My...my...dream.... I.. have done this before..." she managed to whisper.
