It is beautiful but bittersweet
Ineffable it was and still is
I thought I saw and believed it
I was wrong, I gave it a miss
Enraged and hostile, I am not
Not what of me you have thought
See me for who I am, not was
See me for who I am, not yours
Inspired by many, those I knew
Inspired by those, there were few
You are one, You were none
Besieged by them, truth you aren't
Asked for a poet, whom I'm not
Not degrading shamelessly, just doubts
Not insulting, more often than naught
You inspired me, and that's enough
Art, no matter how it sounds
I think; therefore I am
I speak; thus I am
How admirably profound
