Knee problems

On Monday I had a cortozone injection put into my knee. The doctor told me to continue walking with my cane as I usually do, and not to put too much pressure on my knee for a few days.

The thing is this morning I woke up and I can hardly put any pressure on my knee and it is hard for me to straighten my leg out when I walk. Is this normal or is it something I should be concerned about? How long will this last?
