she gets off the school bus,
and has a paper in her hand,

her mother took the paper from her tiny hand,
and there was 2 stick people scribbled on it,
the little one with pig tails,she pointed to it's me,
the big one with boots on,thats my daddy,
as her mother looked closer at the little one,
she could see,spots on the face so clearly,
oh baby,you drew your freckles,they look so sweet,
no she repled,mommy thats tears upon my cheeks,
because,i so much ,miss my daddy,
and i thought if he could only see,
that i'm so unhappy,he would come home ,soon too me,
her momma got down on bended knee,
to look into her face a child so sweet,
her momma's heart ached,deep down inside,
blinked back a tear,and hoped she would not cry,
she said honey daddy is very sad too,because he also misses you,
he has a very important job to do,and soon he'll return back
to me and you,fast as he can,hoping her child would understand,
momma do you think daddy has tears falling down on his cheeks
i know he's a big boy,and big boy dont cry,
but if misses you and me
,like i miss him ,
i betch daddy has them too
momma don't you?
