The thing that I aim for in my poems, and the thing that I revere most in a poem is not the rhyme scheme, not the rhythm, not the word choice, but the emotion, the expression. Expression is the most important thing is a poem. A great poem does not come from correct punctuation, nor correct spelling, but rather from the heart. If it is truly expressing from the heart, then it is a great poem. And this poem, my friend, is a great one.  |
