Date: 1/12/2004 4:02:00 PM From Authorid: 33925 My husband and I met at work..I had recently separated from my first husband and was enjoying my freedom..I had noticed him at work passing by, but never spoke to him..In the meantime HE had also noticed me and pointed me out to his cousins. Well I ended up getting a transfer right before Christmas to the same area he worked in and I met a girl and her Mom there..We got to talking and got to know each other pretty well..One day after New years I pointed him out to my new friends and said he was soooo good looking!! Welllll...turns out my friends were his Aunt and First Cousin!! Coincidence?? I think not!! FATE!! They proceeded to introduce me to him..we were both shy and awkward..LOL..Well I ended up inviting him to my place for a house party..He came..but showed up with a girl hanging off his arm..I was LIVID!! I didnt invited him and a date..I invited HIM for ME!! LOLOL..Turns out he wasnt WITH her..she was just hanging off of him cause she wanted to be with him..His car had broken down so these girls gave him a ride to my place..It didnt take long for me to tell her to take a hike..heehee..and here we are 11 years later..Happily married and loving each other more than the day we met!! |

Date: 1/12/2004 9:33:00 PM From Authorid: 19460 The first memory I have of my husband was the first day of 9th grade. He was new to our neighborhood and nervous. As we got off the bus me and some friends noticed he was barfing cornflakes all over the back of the bus... I said "Man, what a complete doofus!" And walked off the bus. A few months later he spotted me in the yard playing my flute (dad would banish me outside with what he called "that *dang* thing"After that he started hanging around my house. I just wouldnt even give him the time of day. He made friends with my parents and was a fixture at my house for about 6 months before I decided to give up and be his friend. Well, before you know it the love letters started. Geez, he was such a pest LOL My Grandma, bless her heart, would alwats say "Mandy you are going to end up marrying that boy someday." And I would roll my eyes and ignore her LOL Well, he was there when I needed him most, and it dawned on me that I had gone stupid somewhere along the line and the love of my life was right there. I gave and and now we have been together 11 years (10 of those years married). |
Date: 1/13/2004 11:10:00 AM From Authorid: 30401 My boyfriend actually was my boss...lol. He hired me, and I remember thinking he was cute...but obviously nothing could happen because he was my boss. Well, I had a huge crush on him, everytime we would work together I would be nervous and usually wouldn't say much to him. I thought he was older (like mid twenties) but one day we were talking about our ages and he said he was 19! He had thought I was only like 16...(but I told him I was nearly 18.) I had no idea that he felt the same way about me, until one day he asked what I was doing the next day (we were both off...he made the schedule and later I found out he had us both off on the same day on purpose) He asked me to lunch...and ever since we've been together. Except the supervisor found out we were dating, and transfered him to a different city! I thought it was over for us, but we decided to stay together. It's hard but I talk to him everynight, and see him atleast once a week. |
Date: 4/13/2004 12:31:00 PM From Authorid: 62632 I was walking with my friends through our outdoor mall about a mile from my house. We were getting ready to go back but one of my friends wanted to pick something up at Hollister because they were having one of their once-in-a-blue-moon-sales. So I dettached from the group and went off with another friend to Starbucks. I shoved open the door and hit this guy in the head. We've been together since then. -CW- |
