Hello everyone,
It's ReginaBean. My son who is 23 has been offered a sponsorship at a place called "Freedom Village", which is in New York State. It is a place for troubled young men to get their life's back in shape. It is a Christian based facility, and I feel would be more of a benefit to him that just a rehab center. It will call for a year commitment of staying there and there is many opportunites available to him. He decided yesterday that he would go.
I am afraid however that he may change his mind. He has been on such a dark road for so long and I think he is apprehensive that he can change now. But I know it would do him a world of good to be around Christian people and others like him. Has anyone else out there heard of this "Freedom Village"?
I have looked up it's Website and it seems encouraging. I was just wondering if any of you out there have any first hand experience about it? Thank you so much. Please pray for my son and that he actually goes and will be the better for it.
