Mine did that to me and I find myself doing it to my child sometimes. I think your parents want you to behave the way they think you should and when you don't, they are afraid you are going to be influenced by the other kids if you know what I mean.
I think more it is fear that you will not be respectful. This is the way it was with me anyway. My mother never liked any of my friends. I like my child's friends but they do seem to get mischevious.  |

how bout instead of fighting about the problem find a reasont to fix it... a little bit of oil or WD40 will take that squeak right out and allow it to open and close MUCH easier... then.. no more fight!  |
