Funny how "spirit communication" is only bad when it does not serve the purposes of main stream religions, yet communication with "holy spirits" are perfectly acceptable, even venerated in the eyes of various main stream religions. How, exactly, is the differentiation made? Clergy have been known to deceive as well...are we to cease "communication" with them as well? Just thoughts...  |

I've never played with the ouija board, but I have played with withcraft... Nothing happened yet... knock on wood... But I do know people who have had bad experiences with the craft.... |

When I was a teenager I once played with the board with friends on a sleepover. I asked the board who I would marry, at the time I was engaged to my childhood sweetheart Dennis. The board told me that I would not marry Dennis but marry Roberto. Strange because I didn't know any Roberto. We lived in Detroit, MI at the time and my mother was desperate to move back to Miami where she and we were born and had family. So we packed up and moved in August of 1968. In December I went on a blind date with a young man who went by a nickname. After a whirwind romance I married him, His name was Roberto. I am not advertising for the ouija board, demons can see into the future or manipulate and/or influence people. They can be dangerous and by allowing or inviting demons into a persons life can create havoc. My best advice is to leave them alone.  |

Umm. Well. I play the ouija often. and it is fun! It's really creepy. I don't think all spirits are bad... they're just not good! But they seem almost like friends. It knows like everything! It told me who my true friends are. I think it is evil, yet it has done only good for me..  |

Roaryblue, the difference is that one the holy spirit speaks in NOTHING but truth, where as the familiar spirits that one can hear from on the board are out to do nothing but lie. Clergy may have lied, but GOD never does.  |

I have a Ouija Board.It hasn't done anything bad.Nothing weird happened or anything.It helped to explain some different sightings i had seen around the house and out side the house.After talking on the ouija board I didn't see any more sightings around the house.  I still have the ouija board and still use it.Nothing bad has happened from it..  |

I don't undertsand the continous preaching on what others should do. As individuals we have to the right to do what we want? And can anyone actually tell me what makes the Ouija Board so dangerous compared to other methods of spiritual divination? |

There is a variety of comments here and I thank each of you for taking the time to share with me. I only speak of my own experience, which was a very negative one, only to prevent what happened to me from happening to someone else. I am not preaching; I am not perfect and at a time used the board a lot, its mysterious and interesting, but it's a channel for all kinds of energy, which can be dangerous. For those whom use it, I pray you shall always be protected and for those who have had a negative experience, I just wanted to share with you. We all perceive the supernatural in a variety of ways, I just want everyone to be safe is all. Thanks for commenting everyone, God Bless  |
